Our Story

When our founder, Ria, was 10 years old, Covid hit — and life felt like it was on pause. She missed her friends and found herself stuck in a bubble of online school and boredom. So she turned to social media, and while mindlessly scrolling, she noticed something: every jewelry business looked the same — the same boring pendants, the same basic chains.

Ria had always loved fashion. At age 7, she watched Legally Blonde on Broadway with her parents for their wedding anniversary. Elle Woods — decked in pink and unshakably confident — inspired her. Elle wasn't just fashionable; she used her own expertise to solve a court case and redefine what was possible.

So when Ria spotted a gap in the jewelry market years later, she thought: why not be the "Elle Woods of business"? She went for it. She started with jewelry made out of rubber bands, originally gifted to her for her birthday because her mother used to create artistic hairstyles. Once the country opened back up, she started showing her art to her parents' friends. They began regularly buying from her as party favors for their kids' birthdays — that's when she knew it was her chance to go for it.

She still remembers that day — the summer between 5th and 6th grade — creating the Instagram account for her first business, Insta Tweens. From there, she rapidly scaled up, eventually changing the name to Riri Bespoke Jewelry to embrace a more mature vibe while keeping the brand's youthful energy alive.

Initially, Riri Bespoke Jewelry focused on being affordable while providing chic designs. But over the years, Ria felt a disconnect between the brand and the woman she was becoming. She realized her audience was investing in high-quality jewelry and focusing on being the best versions of themselves, for themselves. That realization sparked a new era for Riri Bespoke Jewelry — one built on semi-precious stones and pearls.
